Three Key Things You Do Now That Set the Stage for 2020!

It’s nearing the end of December and the hustle and bustle for the holiday is on!

We gather with family and friends to reflect on the year, share some good old fashioned Christmas cheers and for the most part, enjoy the magic that this season offers us.

Here are three key things that may help you in getting ready for the magic of the new year:

  1. REFLECT - This is a great time to reflect on what you have accomplished in this passing year. It’s an important time to cheers your accomplishments, give some time and attention to the goals that you may have started that haven’t come to fruition yet, and those that you may not have even gotten to. This is a time to simply take an inventory of what is and what has come about due to your efforts.

  2. CONTEMPLATION - Once you’ve taken the time to reflect and gather your inventory, the next step is to contemplate. Ask yourself “how important are these goals to me now?” Which of these goals will you carry forward and dedicate your time and energy to in this upcoming year? A lot can happen in a year and there may be some goals that held value when you set them. This is a perfect time to decide on what you want to release in order to make room for the new. This can be a habit, a thought, relationships, a career, projects, and truly, anything else.

  3. SnowMeditationPLAN - Once you have gone through and pondered on the past, where you are today and what matters to you for your future self and experiences, the next step is to create your vision. The vision is what you see for the new year and making a plan based on the assessment and your values. You should begin to strategize your goals into monthly, weekly and daily and the habits that will best support the goals.

You are the main key to your overall success whether it is personal or professional. Your mindset, decisions, and actions are what will be the glue that holds you to your desire!
